There are some Anime I just don’t get. Sometimes, the concept doesn’t grab me and other times, it’s the execution that I feel is lacking. With Active Raid, it’s probably both, even though it’s hard to tell just by judging the very first episode. But this mecha Anime has made for a bad start into this new Anime season for me.

Yurikuma Arashi isn’t the weirdest Anime I have seen this season, but it’s certainly up there. In the future, a planet explodes and bears become intelligent and aggressive. They attack and eat humans, so humanity decides to build a huge barrier, that keeps the bears out. However, at the start of this series, two bears manage to disguise themselves as humans and get inside the human community. And if this sounds a bit weird, just you wait…

„Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!“ is a weird name for an equally weird show. It’s also one of the very few Anime I liked from the very beginning. It’s strange, but charming, weird, but funny and it’s the first series I am going to pick up for this season. Hit the jump for all the reasons.

Svens Blogeintrag zum Spiel „Senran Kagura“ hat mich zu einem Gastblog inspiriert, von dem ich hoffe, dass er euch gefällt!
Als ich noch ein junges und unschuldiges Ding war, wäre mir nie im Traum eingefallen, dass Menschen sich wegen baumelnden Brüsten und freizügigen Kostümen Computerspiele besorgen. Ich spielte damals Spiele wie Dead Or Alive, weil ich die Sprache witzig fand (die ich heute lerne) und weil ich Leute mit coolen Moves verkloppen konnte.
Erst später verstand ich den Fanservice und die Absichten der Spieleentwickler und Comickünstler, die sich damit Leser angelten.
Doch man darf nicht annehmen, dass es solche Fanservice Spiele und Serien nur für Jungs gibt. Natürlich ist der Markt mit Spielen und Serien für Männer übersäht (ein Beispiel, die Serie Cosprayers), doch auch für die weiblichen Fans wird stetig nachgeholt.
